The story starts off slow paced at first, showing Sogo’s daily routine of mining. He then gets caught in the conflict with his friends and falls into a hole with Kaon. Now underground, They encounter a mecha fight, and in the process, meets Felia. Once, they leave the caves with the help of Roman and Otto, they come across all sorts of problems. An organization tracks down Sogo and his friends in order to capture Felia, who is seen to have special powers. Things tend to get more interesting through lots of character development which ranges from Felia and Sogo, and to Hajime Do Mon, who seemed to be the minor character at first, and Sogo.
However, if there’s one thing that Comet Lucifer falls short on, is the ending, as it’s pretty bad and the pacing was horrendous as well. It’s kind of like Aldnoah Zero’s ending, and it could've been better if Comet Lucifer had two cours.
